Applications for our 2026-2027 Teacher Ambassador Program will Open in Fall 2026!
Every Fall we open up applications for our Teacher Ambassador program where we invite select educators to join our community of educators. The ambassador program recognizes and supports educators who are passionate about literacy and are interested in helping us promote literacy initiatives, including the Between the Pages program and the upcoming Blue Witch Readalong. Ambassadors can connect with fellow teachers, participate in monthly meetups, and attend Alane’s annual Impact Retreat, all while building lasting friendships. Annual Impact Retreats
San Diego in 2025
This year’s Impact Retreat brought us to sunny San Diego, California! We spent five incredible days with 150 of our favorite teachers, filled with learning, connection, and fun. Highlights included cheering on the Padres at Petco Park, our spirited annual Team Olympics, a day of exploration at SeaWorld, a harbor cruise, and of course, some truly creative and engaging professional development sessions.
Beyond the activities, the retreat gave everyone a chance to grow professionally, build new friendships, and exchange ideas with fellow educators. We’re already counting down to next year’s retreat, which is going to be in Las Vegas!
Harvesting Growth 2024

In 2024, we took 120 wonderful teachers to San Francisco and Napa Valley! We had a week full of professional development, sightseeing, and of course, wine tasting. This offered a fantastic opportunity to connect, share ideas, and plan for the future.
Sailing Away In 2023

In 2023, we took 100 teachers on an all-expenses-paid cruise to the Bahamas! The cruise featured workshops, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities for educators, alongside enjoyable activities like snorkeling, island hopping, beach parties, and relaxation.
Building Community 2022

In 2022, we hosted 40 teachers from across the country in Temecula, California for a weekend full of professional development, community bonding, and wine tasting!
Forging Ahead 2021
In 2021, we hosted 8 teachers in California and quickly realized this was the start of an amazing community. These teachers are now known as the “minions” and have been with us since the beginning of our Between The Pages Teacher Ambassador program.
